The hcwa Association

Whilst maintaining a dedicated local service, we offer services on a global basis – a quality normally found only in larger international firms. This worldwide coverage is achieved through our membership of hcwa, which allows us instant access to a network of national and international specialist service providers.

Although very much an independent firm, we feel it important to have instant access to additional expertise and specialist departments with which to complement our own services. In an increasingly sophisticated business environment, many clients develop special needs on which we need to be able to advise. Through our membership of hcwa, we can work with the resources of all the member firms. This is a network which includes Horwath Clark Whitehill, one of the largest accountancy firm in the UK, and over 30 other UK associate firms. Additionally, a further 100 member firms outside the UK provide resources on a global scale.

All UK members of this association use standard accounts and audit programmes, and all receive technical training and updates from the one resource. This, along with regular independent quality control reviews, ensures that all member firms work to the same standards. The result is a consistently high standard of service.

Specialisms include international tax planning, offshore investments, professional partnerships, charitable and ‘not-for-profit’ organisations and family and owner-managed business consultancy.
